To earn an Accolade badge in PEAK, complete the task shown on the Accolades screen in the pause menu. Badges unlock related cosmetics; check the Passport at the airport to customize your character. A guide updated August 13, 2026 reports 64 badges, but it does not provide a complete text list of all 64 requirements. Treat the live in-game descriptions as the final authority, especially if a guide’s wording differs.
Where to find badge requirements and rewards
Open the pause menu and select Accolades to see each challenge and its progress. After unlocking a badge, use the Passport at the airport to view and equip its associated cosmetic. Some rewards are confirmed only after you escape the island, so completing the apparent task mid-expedition may not be enough.
The August 13, 2026 AllThingsHow guide reports 64 badges, following the August 11 Final Ascent update. That count and the examples below come from a secondary guide, not an independently verified in-game count. The game’s current Accolades text should take precedence.
How to organize your badge attempts
- Check Accolades in the pause menu. Read the exact wording and note the progress shown for each locked badge.
- Sort challenges by what they require. Separate biome-specific tasks, co-op tasks, solo or full-expedition rules, cumulative progress, and challenges that require a successful escape.
- Check the active biome rotation. The guide reports these rotating pairs: Alpine/Mesa, Roots/Tropics, and Caldera/Gloom. Plan a biome-specific attempt when the biome you need is available.
- Keep restrictive challenges separate where needed. A no-damage run, a temperature limit, or a food restriction can conflict with ordinary survival or another badge attempt. Use the displayed progress and status meters rather than relying on memory.
- Escape when the requirement calls for it. After the expedition, check Accolades for completion and the Passport for the cosmetic.
- Retry cleanly if progress does not register. Re-read the current in-game requirement and make another attempt. The available guide notes that tracking issues can occur but does not establish a universal fix.
Biome clears and restricted runs
The current guide lists clear badges for Shore, Alpine, Roots, Tropics, Gloom, Mesa, Caldera, and Peak. It gives these names as examples, in the same order: Beachcomber, Alpinist, Forestry, Trailblazer, Wanderer, Nomad, Volcanology, and Peak.

It also reports several biome-specific restrictions:
- Cool Cucumber: Finish Mesa without exceeding 10% Heat.
- Bundle Up: Finish Alpine without exceeding 20% Cold.
- Tread Lightly: Finish Roots without exceeding 25% Spores.
- Medieval History: Escape the Citadel without being hit by traps.
These conditions are reported by the August 2026 guide; confirm the exact live wording before attempting them. An older Steam Community guide also describes Cool Cucumber as crossing Mesa without gaining more than 10% Heat, and suggests traveling at night or in shade and using protective items. It is supplementary, not a replacement for the current description.
Full-expedition and co-op challenges
Examples reported by the current guide include completing an escape under special rules or with a particular outcome:
- Balloon: Escape without taking damage.
- Survivalist: Escape without losing consciousness.
- Lone Wolf: Escape solo.
- Hasty: Escape in under 60 minutes.
- Naturalist: Escape without eating packaged food.
- Leave No Trace: Escape without placing items.
- Bing Bong: Carry Bing Bong to an escape.
- Gourmand: Cook and eat four specified foods before escaping.
- Participation: Be dead when a friend reaches and escapes Peak.
Because several of these depend on the expedition ending, check the Accolades screen after the escape rather than assuming the badge will unlock as soon as the last action is performed. Verify the current task wording in-game, particularly for named items and food.

Healing, revives, and food
The guide describes these healing and support examples:
- Emergency Preparedness: Heal an unconscious friend to prevent their death.
- Clutch: Revive three scouts at an Ancient Statue in one expedition.
- First Aid: Heal friends for 100 injury points in one expedition.
- Disaster Response: Drag an unconscious friend 30 m with a Rescue Claw.
- Applied Esoterica: Read the Book of Bones over a friend’s bones to revive them.
- Calcium Intake: Block 100 damage with Fortified Milk.
Food-related examples include cooking 20 meals; eating four different non-toxic mushrooms in one expedition; eating five Shroomberry types; eating five different berries in one expedition; cooking and eating a Mandrake; and eating three Hot Dogs within five seconds.
An older Steam guide independently describes Cooking as preparing 20 units of food and Bookworm as reading eight pages from scrolls near stage-end bonfires. It predates Final Ascent, so use the current Accolades text if names or requirements differ.

Examples in the current guide span climbing distance, placed gear, and movement with equipment:
Rank #3
- playstation 1 video game
- Endurance: Climb 50 m vertically without touching the ground.
- High Altitude: Accumulate 5,000 m climbed.
- Bouldering: Place ten Pitons.
- Knot Tying: Place 100 m of rope in one expedition.
- Hang Gliding: Fly 100 m with a Glider.
- Aeronautics: Fly with six balloons or two Balloon Bunches.
- Mycoacrobatics: Bounce 40 m off a mushroom.
- Plunderer: Open 15 luggage cases in one expedition.
- Ultimate: Catch a Flying Disc thrown from 100 m.
Check whether a counter is cumulative or limited to one expedition before choosing a route. The in-game progress display is the safest way to tell whether distance, item placement, or a one-run count is registering.
Biome hazards, secrets, and discoveries
The guide also lists challenges tied to specific hazards, locations, or discoveries:
- Web Security: Escape a spider web in Roots.
- Needlepoint: Have five cacti attached simultaneously in Mesa, then remove them.
- Megaentomology: Survive an Antlion hit and escape.
- Archery: Remove ten arrows from yourself in the Citadel after blue laser hits.
- 24 Karat: Move the Ancient Idol from Mesa’s Tomb to lava at the Kiln or Citadel.
- Astronomy: View the sun in Mesa through Binoculars from Shore.
- Rule Zero: Collect four Scout Amulets, bestow them at Peak, obtain the Strange Gem, then escape Nadir.
These multi-stage tasks are particularly easy to misremember. Follow the sequence and destination described by the live Accolades entry, and check the biome rotation before setting out.
