The reported route to The Hunt Mega Token in SpongeBob Tower Defense is: find the Flying Dutchman’s map at marked dig sites, clear the special stage, inspect the map in his quarters, then use /e dance at a cave altar. The Hunt was reported to run March 14–25, 2025, so this is a historical walkthrough; current access and token claimability are not confirmed.
Regular Hunt Token vs. Mega Token
These are separate objectives. Clearing the regular Hunt event stage awards the regular Hunt Token. The Mega Token route adds a map hunt, a special stage, an interaction aboard the Flying Dutchman’s ship, and a hidden cave puzzle. The steps below reflect walkthroughs published by Pro Game Guides and Dot Esports.
How to complete the Mega Token route
- Enter the Hunt event area. Join the Roblox experience and use either the Hunt-marked special portal in Story or the in-game Hunt button and its teleport option, as described in the walkthroughs.
- Find the Flying Dutchman’s map. Enter the Hunt event stage and dig at the marked X locations until the map appears.
- Clear the special stage. Follow the maze route to its door and complete the stage. Pro Game Guides says a free unit roster is provided and recommends upgrading SpongeGars; that is guide advice, not independently verified strategy.
- Inspect the map aboard the ship. After the special stage, go to the Flying Dutchman’s quarters on the top deck and interact with the newly revealed map.
- Return to the Hunt stage and find the cave. Follow the map’s directions to a cave in a corner of the event area. Enter it and follow the water to the altar.
- Open the hidden room. Stand on the altar and enter
/e dancein chat. The guides report that this opens the hidden door to Davy Jones’ Locker, where the Mega Token is located.
Is The Hunt event still available?
The SpongeBob Tower Defense community wiki lists The Hunt: Mega Edition as running from March 14 through March 25, 2025: event page. The walkthroughs describe how the quest worked during the event, not whether the event or its token can still be accessed. Current availability has not been confirmed, so check the live experience before following the route.
