What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
On the Roblox website, open Home, select the gear icon in the upper-right corner, then choose Switch Account. You can select an account already saved on that device or add another one. Roblox documents this web feature for users aged 13 or older whose accounts do not have parent privileges.
Switch accounts on the Roblox website
- Sign in to Roblox on the web and open the Home page.
- Select the gear icon in the upper-right corner.
- Choose Switch Account.
- Select an account already in the switcher, or follow the on-screen prompts to add one.
Roblox’s Account Switching support page describes the switcher as a way to access multiple accounts on the web. It supports up to five accounts. Saved accounts are stored on the device where they were added and do not appear in the switcher on your other devices. This describes the switcher’s storage and visibility, not whether Roblox can see account activity.
If “Switch Account” is missing
Check the documented eligibility requirements: Roblox says the feature is for users aged 13 and older and accounts without parent privileges. Its support instructions do not describe a workaround for accounts that do not meet those requirements.
Switching accounts is different from ending a session
Use the switcher to move between saved accounts on the current web device. To end an active login on another device or browser, open Settings > Security > Where you’re logged in. Review and log out of a specific session, or select Log Out of All Other Sessions. Roblox notes that older sessions may show incomplete information or appear as Unknown. See Roblox’s session management instructions.
#1 Best Overall
- Redemption: Online only. Robux cards can only be redeemed in a browser at Roblox.com/redeem. They cannot be redeemed in the Roblox mobile app or any video game console.
- Roblox is an immersive platform for connection and communication. Every day, millions of people come to Roblox to create, play, work, learn, and connect with each other in experiences built by our global community of creators.
- Get more with every Roblox Gift Card! From now on, when you redeem a Roblox gift card, you get up to 25% more Robux. Perfect for gaming, creating, and exploring- more Robux means more possibilities!
- Deck out your avatar and unlock additional perks in your favorite experiences when you use Roblox Gift Cards to purchase Robux (Roblox's virtual currency).
- Each gift card grants a free virtual item upon redemption.
Use alt accounts safely
- Separate accounts do not guarantee separate enforcement. Roblox may take action on other accounts it determines belong to the same user if that user violates Community Standards; it considers several factors. See Roblox’s Community Standards enforcement information.
- Keep sign-in secrets private. Do not share passwords, browser cookies, 2-Step Verification codes, or backup codes. Enter login information only on the official Roblox website or the login screen of an official Roblox app. Roblox also warns that third-party browser extensions may compromise accounts and says it does not create browser extensions. Read Keep Your Account Safe.
- Recover a forgotten password through Roblox. On the login page, choose Forgot Password or Username? and follow the recovery steps using the email address or phone number on the account. If you cannot access either, contact Roblox Support; Roblox requires ownership verification before resetting an account or changing its information. See I Forgot My Password.
- Do not confuse switching your own accounts with sharing or trading them. Roblox discourages account sharing because someone with access could change the password, spend currency, or trade items. Its Terms prohibit buying or selling accounts or credentials. See Roblox’s account safety guidance and Roblox Terms of Use.
Mobile apps and consoles
The documented Account Switcher instructions cover the Roblox website; they do not establish the same menu or flow in mobile apps or on consoles. On those platforms, use the visible sign-out and login controls or consult Roblox Support for instructions specific to the platform rather than assuming the web gear-menu path applies.
