Sign in to the correct Epic account, open Parental Controls, enter the six-digit PIN, and switch off the restrictions you want to change. If you have forgotten the PIN, use Forgot your PIN? to reset it by email.
Turn off restrictions when you know the PIN

Sign in to the Epic Games account whose settings you want to change. If you play on a console, first confirm it is the same Epic account linked to the game. Epic recommends comparing the Account ID on the account website with the Account ID shown in-game: Epic’s Account ID instructions.

Open the account’s Parental Controls page and enter the six-digit PIN. Epic’s guide to changing Parental Controls settings explains that you can choose the desired on or off state for each setting.

Switch off only the restrictions you intend to remove. Depending on the setting, controls cover Store content age ratings, Fortnite chat and spending, and paid random items on developer-made Fortnite Islands. See Epic’s Parental Controls setup guide for the available options.

The PIN remains on the account; changing the settings does not remove it. Epic Support also says it cannot remove the PIN on your behalf. Epic explains the distinction between the PIN and restrictions.
Reset a forgotten PIN

On the Parental Controls screen, choose Forgot your PIN?.

Follow the reset instructions sent to the email address associated with the account. For a minor’s account, Epic sends the message to the parent or guardian email linked to it.

After resetting the PIN, return to Parental Controls and change the settings you want to turn off.

Epic’s PIN reset instructions describe the email process. If an error specifically affects a parent or guardian, consult that article for the support route Epic provides for those cases; it does not promise that Support can remove the PIN.
When the limit is set by a console or device
Epic account settings do not control every restriction encountered while playing. Screen-time limits and payment limits imposed by a console or device must be changed in that platform’s parental-control or family settings, not on the Epic Parental Controls page. The platform varies by device, so use its own family or parental-control settings.

Age and guardian-consent requirements still apply
Turning off an account setting does not bypass age rules or guardian-consent requirements. Epic says some features may involve collecting or disclosing personal information and may require parent or guardian permission for a minor under the law applicable in their country. See Epic’s Parental Verification FAQ. The settings available can also vary: some let a parent choose which options a child may access rather than directly setting the child’s preference.
