To win a Triple Crown in Umamusume: Pretty Derby, choose the specific race series first, then enter and win all three races in its calendar windows. The Classic Triple Crown and Triple Tiara are competing Classic-year routes: their spring and autumn dates overlap, so a trainee’s Career objectives can make one route incompatible with the other. The game also has Spring and Fall Senior Triple Crown sequences.
Which races count toward each Triple Crown?
“Triple Crown” can mean several race sequences in Umamusume. The Classic Triple Crown and Triple Tiara take place in the Classic year; the other two sequences are associated with Senior-year races, though some listed races also allow Classic-year entries. The schedule and eligibility below follow Game8 Japan’s reference, updated August 25, 2026; check the race details in your game version before planning.

How to plan a run around the races
- Pick the series before training. Decide whether you are targeting the Classic Triple Crown, Triple Tiara, Spring Senior Triple Crown, or Fall Senior Triple Crown. The two Classic routes share April, May, and October windows; do not plan on completing both in one run.
- Review the trainee’s Career schedule. Compare required Career races with the target dates and check the in-game schedule for race availability. A required race or objective may occupy a window needed for your chosen sequence.
- Compare the distance range with the trainee’s aptitudes. The Classic Triple Crown covers 2,000–3,000 m, including the 3,000 m Kikuka Sho. Triple Tiara runs from 1,600–2,400 m. Use those distances to judge route fit, but there is no established universal stat threshold or guaranteed build for winning.
- Check entry conditions in your version. Game8 Japan’s fan thresholds are useful planning references, but they may vary by version or scenario. Confirm the current in-game requirement before relying on a figure.
- Enter each target race and win all three. GⅠ wins also matter for GⅠ-win missions, according to the official game FAQ. Verify the crown’s completion criteria in the Career scenario you are playing.
How to choose between the Classic routes
Use the Career calendar and distance aptitudes together, rather than assuming one crown is always easier. Triple Crown asks the trainee to handle 3,000 m at the Kikuka Sho, while Triple Tiara starts at 1,600 m and tops out at 2,400 m. Both routes have April, May, and October races, so the schedule conflict is as important as the distances. For either Senior sequence, compare its dates and race demands with the trainee’s objectives and preparation.
