To upgrade, use the EA Account that holds your EA Play membership and change it through the EA app on PC: open Subscriptions and Memberships > EA Play > Manage membership > Change Membership, choose Switch to EA Play Pro, select a monthly or yearly plan, and confirm. EA says it refunds remaining paid time on your old membership to your original payment method after the upgrade payment succeeds.
Upgrade your EA Play membership
- Sign in to the EA Account you used to subscribe to EA Play.
- Open Subscriptions and Memberships and select EA Play.
- Under Your membership, choose Manage membership.
- On the account page that opens in your browser, choose Change Membership.
- Select Switch to EA Play Pro, then choose a monthly or yearly plan.
- Select Confirm Change to complete the switch.
These are EA’s documented account steps for an eligible PC membership. The plan options and price shown in your account are the relevant ones for your subscription; EA’s upgrade guidance does not give a universal price.

Check whether your membership is eligible
EA Play Pro is available on PC through the EA app. EA says Pro is not available through Steam, Epic, PlayStation, or Xbox, and is not available in Brazil. If you subscribed to EA Play through a storefront or console rather than the EA app, EA says you cannot upgrade that membership to Pro through this flow. For Steam- or Epic-started subscriptions, EA directs members to the relevant storefront’s support for subscription management, billing, or cancellation.
If the option to switch is missing, check both where you originally subscribed and whether Pro is available in your location before troubleshooting the account page.

What changes after upgrading?
Billing and remaining membership time
Once the Pro upgrade payment succeeds, EA says it refunds the remaining paid time on the previous EA Play membership to the original payment method. EA’s instructions do not state how long that refund takes to appear.
Installed games and progress
EA says upgrading does not remove games you have already downloaded or installed, and it does not affect progress in those games.

Games and member benefits
EA Play Pro includes a library of premium-edition EA games and fan-favorite series, member rewards in some games, and early access to selected new releases. It does not mean every EA game or every new release is included. Check the current Play List for the games available to you; EA notes that availability can vary by region and platform, and titles can be added or removed over time.

Before choosing a plan
- Confirm your current EA Play subscription is through the EA app on PC.
- Check that EA Play Pro is available in your location.
- Look for the specific games you want in the current regional Play List.
- Compare the monthly and yearly options displayed in your account and choose the billing interval that suits you.
