To get the hard hat in Sneaky Sasquatch, enter the Lumberyard building while the worker is distracted at the fridge. The hat is on top of a locker; take it and use the touch action promptly to collect it. These steps come from a guide published September 6, 2021, and have not been confirmed against a current game build.
How to take the hard hat
- Find the Lumberyard building. Watch the worker’s routine from outside.
- Wait for the worker to go to the fridge.
- Go inside while the worker is distracted. The guide advises moving quickly and quietly; it says you can tiptoe or run.
- Take the hard hat from the top of a locker.
- Use the touch action promptly after grabbing it to collect the hat.
This route is described in Touch, Tap, Play’s hard-hat guide. The guide is dated September 6, 2021, and the exact worker timing and interaction prompt have not been verified for the current game version.
What the hard hat is for
The community-maintained Sneaky Sasquatch wiki’s Sawmill page says wearing a hard hat lets Sasquatch enter the machinery area. It also describes a Worker Disguise in the back room as an alternative way in; treat these as community-reported mechanics, not official developer guidance.
Don’t confuse it with the lost-hat task
The lost-hat map-piece objective is separate. In that task, a duck at the RV C&D area has lost a hat inside an RV north of the pond. TheGamer’s walkthrough says to change the radio channel to lure out the RV owner, take the hat, and return it to the duck. That is not the Lumberyard hard hat.
