You can make a recognizable Waluigi in Fallout 4 without mods by focusing on a lanky silhouette, a long nose, a crooked moustache and purple-and-black clothing. For a more direct starting point, a Waluigi-specific LooksMenu preset is listed for PC mod setups, but you’ll need to check its current requirements and compatibility.
Build Waluigi without mods
Fallout 4 does not have a dedicated Waluigi preset or costume established by the available sources. Treat the result as an approximation: prioritize the features that read clearly in-game rather than trying to match every detail exactly.
- Shape the face. In the character creator’s sculpting interface, work toward a long face and prominent nose. Adjust gradually and check the result in the game’s lighting; no verified slider coordinates or tested recipe are available.
- Add a crooked moustache. Choose the closest facial-hair option and aim for an angled or curled look. An exact vanilla match has not been established.
- Choose a lanky look. Waluigi’s tall, thin proportions are a key part of his silhouette. Use the available character and clothing choices to suggest that shape.
- Use purple and black as the main colors. A purple top with black pants or an overalls-like lower half evokes his usual outfit. The sources do not establish an exact vanilla hat or a way to reproduce the purple cap with its inverted yellow L, so treat those details as optional approximations.
Vanilla outfit options
A discussion on the Waluigi preset page identifies Sturges’ attire as the closest vanilla-game clothing option. Another player suggests a postman uniform and cap. Neither is a dedicated Waluigi outfit; use whichever better suits your character and emphasize purple and black where your setup allows.
Use a Waluigi preset on PC
Nexus Mods lists Wallelujah – Waluigi Preset for Fallout 4. The page discussion says it appears in LooksMenu presets when the required mods are installed. It offers a Waluigi-specific starting point, but the cited instructions are older community guidance rather than a guarantee of compatibility with a current game setup.
#1 Best Overall
- Import Game - Japanese Version
- Compatible with US systems (region free)
- Japanese language (other languages may be included)
- Manual and packaging in Japanese language
- Open the live Nexus Mods page and check its current dependencies, Fallout 4 version compatibility and installation directions.
- Install the required mods using the directions given there, or use a correctly configured mod manager.
- If installing the preset files manually, the author-side guidance in the discussion gives
Data/F4SE/Plugins/F4EE/Presetsas the destination. Create the folder if it does not exist, then follow the page’s current directions. - Launch the game with the required setup and look for the preset in LooksMenu. If it does not appear, recheck the folder, dependencies and game-version compatibility against the live mod page.
These instructions describe a PC-style F4SE and LooksMenu setup. The available information does not verify that the preset works on consoles.
Optional customization expansion
Bethesda’s listing for XCE – Xenius Character Expansion says it adds 143 character customization options; that figure is from a Bethesda.net listing dating to approximately 2016. XCE is an optional way to expand appearance choices, not an established requirement for the Waluigi preset.
