Find the Wordle solution for the date your active Password Game expects, then add the complete five-letter answer to the password you are already editing. Check that Rule 11 turns green before moving on; the answer changes daily, and a lookup labeled “today” may use a different date from your game.
What the Wordle rule is asking you to do
The Password Game is an interactive browser puzzle on Neal.fun. Its Rule 11 asks you to include that day’s Wordle solution in your existing password. A community guide identifies the required word as the daily answer, and the community rule list records the prompt as “Your password must include today’s Wordle answer.”
There is no fixed answer that works every day. Solve the relevant Wordle puzzle or retrieve its answer for the date your game is using, then include it as a contiguous five-letter string.

Retrieve an answer for a specific date
A community repository documents a Neal.fun endpoint that accepts a date in YYYY-MM-DD form and returns an answer. Its example uses JavaScript in a browser console:

.then(data => console.log(data.answer));Replace YYYY-MM-DD with the date you want to check. This endpoint and console method are community-documented, not presented here as an official lookup feature; confirm that the returned word satisfies the rule in the game.
Enter the answer without breaking earlier rules
- Check the date associated with your active game and the date used by your Wordle puzzle or lookup. If you started near midnight, do not assume both are using the same calendar day.
- Get the solution by playing Wordle or using the date-specific method above.
- Add the full five-letter answer as one uninterrupted string in the Password Game password field.
- Check the Rule 11 indicator. If it does not pass, verify the date and spelling, then check whether autocorrection, formatting, or another password edit changed the text.
- Keep checking the other rules as you continue: a later password change can affect a condition that had already passed.

Why a correct-looking answer may fail
- Date mismatch: “Today” may refer to different dates near midnight or across time zones. The official game’s timezone cutoff is not established, so check the date your active puzzle appears to expect rather than assuming it follows UTC or your local clock.
- Wrong or stale solution: A static answer list will not reliably work because the required answer changes daily.
- Text changed after entry: Check the spelling and whether autocorrection, formatting, or a later edit altered the password.
- Other rules no longer pass: The game evaluates an evolving password with multiple requirements. Recheck earlier indicators after changing the text.
About changing your device date
An unofficial wiki reports that advancing a device date by at least a month can bypass the rule because answers are reportedly available only about a month ahead. This workaround is unverified against the current live game and may stop working, so it is not dependable advice.
