To limit Arknights: Endfield downloads in the PC GRYPHLINK launcher, open the gear icon, go to Launcher Settings, and set a custom value under Download Speed Limit. The steps below apply to GRYPHLINK—not the Steam version.
Set the download speed limit in GRYPHLINK

Open the GRYPHLINK launcher and select the gear icon in the top-right corner.

Select Launcher Settings in the left sidebar.

Scroll to Download Speed Limit.

Change the setting from No limit to the custom-value option, then enter the maximum speed you want in KB/s.
NerdsChalk’s how-to guide, by Shashwat and updated January 21, 2026, reports that the custom range is 100 to 20,480 KB/s and that the change takes effect immediately. These are limits reported by that secondary guide; Gryphline’s official pre-download notice confirms GRYPHLINK handles PC downloads but does not document this setting or its range. What the limit does—and does not do
A cap restricts how quickly GRYPHLINK can download, leaving more of your connection available for other tasks. It does not make the game download faster. Gryphline recommends a stable Wi-Fi connection for the large PC download in its January 20, 2026 pre-download notice.
If you cannot find Download Speed Limit

Confirm that you are in Launcher Settings, not an in-game settings menu.

Check that you are using the GRYPHLINK launcher. The setting is described for that client, not for Steam.

If the option is still missing, check whether the launcher is up to date. The available information does not establish whether this menu changes by launcher version or region.

Steam users: manage downloads in Steam
These GRYPHLINK steps do not apply to the Steam client. Gryphline’s September 15, 2026 notice says the Steam version can only be downloaded and updated through Steam and cannot be managed through GRYPHLINK. Use Steam’s own download controls instead. Gryphline’s Steam notice
