The documented route is to hatch Shroodle from a 12 km Egg, then evolve it into Grafaiai using 50 Shroodle Candy. Pokémon GO announced that method for Shroodle’s January 2025 debut, but the announcement does not confirm Shroodle is still in the current Egg pool. Check the live in-game Egg and event listings before pursuing it.
How to get Shroodle
Pokémon GO introduced Shroodle during Fashion Week: Taken Over, which ran January 15–19, 2025. The announcement said Shroodle could hatch from 12 km Eggs. That establishes the original acquisition method, not its availability in the Egg pool today.

To earn 12 km Eggs, defeat Team GO Rocket leaders. Pokémon GO has documented this as a way to obtain those Eggs, but it does not guarantee that any particular Egg will contain Shroodle. Check the current Egg listing in the game before using an Egg or Incubator specifically to hunt for one.
As of October 8, 2026, the official sources cited here do not establish whether Shroodle remains in the 12 km Egg pool or can be obtained another way. The latest Shroodle-specific event announcement covered Harvest Festival: Taken Over, October 2–5, 2026, and has ended.

How to evolve Shroodle into Grafaiai
Once you have Shroodle and 50 Shroodle Candy, open its Pokémon summary and tap Evolve. Pokémon GO’s debut announcement gives the 50-Candy requirement, and the Help Center explains that a Pokémon’s summary displays its evolution requirement. Grafaiai is Shroodle’s evolution; the cited announcement does not describe it as a separate hatch or wild encounter.

Can you get Shiny Shroodle?
Pokémon GO announced that Shiny Shroodle could be hatched for the first time during Harvest Festival: Taken Over, October 2–5, 2026. That event window has passed; the announcement does not establish that its shiny availability or any event bonus continues afterward.
