To complete the Master of the Wind Shrine Quest, clear the four boulder blockages around Horon Lagoon, then ride the newly opened wind current and land on the glowing pedestal while your paraglider is still open. The pedestal reveals Shai Yota Shrine in Lanayru.
Find Kass at Horon Lagoon
Go to the southwestern shore of Horon Lagoon in Lanayru and speak with Kass. His song gives the clue and speaking with him registers the quest, even though some walkthroughs report that the shrine can appear without first talking to him.
Kass’s clue is: “He breaks the rocks that serve to bind, Above the tempestuous bay. On wings of cloth and wood entwined, He lands on the altar to open the way.” The rocks are the blockages, the “wings” are your paraglider, and the altar is the glowing pedestal.
Clear the four boulder groups
Four groups of destructible boulders obstruct wind channels around the U-shaped rock formation. Use Remote Bombs to break them; Bomb Arrows are another guide-reported option. One blockage is overhead. To reach it, a walkthrough describes creating an ice pillar with Cryonis and placing a bomb from the pillar.

Open all four channels so the wind can flow toward the pedestal. The guides establish the number of blockages and the elevated one, but do not give a dependable rock-by-rock sequence, so focus on checking the channels around the formation rather than following an assumed order.
Glide onto the pedestal to reveal the shrine
- Stand where you can catch the wind current after clearing the boulders.
- Jump and open the paraglider to ride the current toward the glowing pedestal.
- Keep gliding until you land directly on the pedestal. Touching down nearby and walking onto it does not meet the reported trigger condition.
A Zelda Dungeon walkthrough also reports Revali’s Gale as an alternate way to activate the pedestal. The glide route is the standard approach and does not depend on having that ability.

Complete Shai Yota Shrine
Shai Yota Shrine is a blessing shrine, so there is no additional trial to solve inside. Zelda Dungeon lists a Great Flameblade in the chest and a Spirit Orb at the altar.
