If you mean the torso on your Roblox avatar, change its body color in the Avatar editor. In a browser, use Advanced to color only the torso, or choose Skin Tone to change the whole avatar. On mobile, go to Customize > Body > Skin. These settings change body color, not the graphic on an equipped shirt.
Change the torso color in a browser
- Open the Avatar section of your Roblox account.
- Hover over Head & Body and select Advanced.
- Select the torso, then choose the color you want.
Roblox documents Skin Tone as the option for changing the avatar’s overall body color. Use Advanced when you want to select an individual part instead. Roblox’s skin-color instructions describe both controls.
Change body color in the mobile app
- Open the You tab. In some regions, it may still appear as Avatar.
- Choose Customize > Body > Skin.
- Select the skin color you want.
Roblox says the Avatar tab rename to You is rolling out regionally. Its mobile instructions are available in Roblox’s mobile skin-color guide.
Body color is different from shirt color
These controls recolor the avatar’s body, including its torso; Roblox’s instructions do not say they recolor an equipped shirt item. Classic shirts are a separate type of virtual 2D clothing, alongside classic T-shirts and pants. See Roblox’s overview of classic clothing.

So, if you mean the default-looking torso rather than a clothing graphic, use the body-color steps above. If you mean the design on a classic shirt, the skin-color controls are not documented as a way to change that design.
