Sign in to an existing Roblox account on Xbox
-
Launch Roblox on your Xbox.
-
On the home screen, select Sign In. Do not choose Create Account if you want to use an account you already have; that option creates a new Roblox account linked to the current Xbox profile. Roblox Support explains the Xbox sign-in flow.
-
Enter your Roblox username and password.
-
Check the displayed Xbox Gamertag. If it is not the profile you want, select the Gamertag option and switch Xbox profiles before signing in.
If you cannot sign in or connect the accounts
You forgot your password or usually sign in with Facebook
The Xbox flow requires the Roblox account’s username and password; Facebook connect is not available through Xbox. Reset your Roblox password, then use the new credentials in the Xbox app. See Roblox’s Xbox sign-in instructions.

You are looking for Quick Login or a QR code
Quick Login is not an Xbox sign-in option. Roblox Support states, “NOTE: This feature is currently unavailable on Xbox.” The one-time Quick Login code is valid for five minutes when the feature is available on supported devices, but it cannot be used to sign in on Xbox. Read Roblox Support’s Quick Login guidance.
Your Roblox account is linked to another Xbox Gamertag
Roblox says one Roblox account can be linked to only one Xbox Gamertag. To change the link, Roblox’s troubleshooting instructions describe unlinking it in Xbox Settings > Account > UNLINK [YOUR GAMERTAG], or disconnecting Xbox from the Roblox account’s Security tab. See Roblox’s Xbox linking guidance and its general troubleshooting page.

The account is a child account or age settings do not match
Roblox says Xbox availability is for ages 10 and up and recommends matching the age settings on the Xbox and Roblox accounts. An Xbox Child Account may also need a parent to grant permission through the Xbox Family account before Roblox can launch. Roblox’s Xbox support page and its troubleshooting guidance cover these restrictions.
You see Error 901
Roblox recommends signing in to Roblox on another device connected to the same home internet network, then retrying on Xbox while it is on that network. A moderated account may also cause Error 901; check whether the account works on another device and contact Roblox Support if the error remains. See Roblox’s Error 901 guidance.
