You can’t newly download or play the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 multiplayer beta: its limited 2024 access periods have ended. Activision and Blizzard’s announcements confirm that the beta was a past event, not a current storefront download. The platform instructions below explain how access worked at the time; they are not a way to recover the expired beta.
How the beta download worked in 2024
During the beta, the download route depended on whether Call of Duty was already installed. Activision said players with Call of Duty and its Season 5.5 update installed would receive beta content through an update to that installation. Players without the game were directed to their platform’s storefront.

The historical storefronts named in Activision’s preparation guide were PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Battle.net and Steam. Those listings applied during the beta event only; they do not indicate that the beta is still available.

Installing the released game is not beta access
The full game and its current installer are not substitutes for the 2024 beta. Activision’s Black Ops 6 installation guidance notes that some PlayStation owners reinstalling the game may be sent to a purchase page instead of a free launcher download. There is no current Black Ops 6 beta download route established by the official information cited here. If Activision announces another event, check that event’s official instructions before downloading: beta dates, eligibility, supported platforms and storefronts can differ, as can whether the beta arrives as an update or a separate download.
