You can change camera mode and rotate or zoom the viewpoint using standard controls, but those are not the same as changing FOV. A wider or narrower FOV is available only if the specific experience provides its own control.
Check whether the experience offers an FOV setting

Open the experience’s in-game settings and Help menu. The Help menu may list that experience’s keyboard shortcuts, mouse instructions, and mobile gestures. See Roblox’s In-experience Settings and Help.

Look for a setting explicitly labeled FOV, field of view, or camera field of view. Experience developers can customize camera behavior, so available controls differ by experience. Roblox’s camera customization guide describes developer-side customization.

If you do not see an FOV control, the standard Roblox settings do not provide a documented general FOV slider. Check the experience’s own instructions or ask its creator whether it supports changing FOV.

Change the standard camera mode or viewpoint
Roblox Support describes two ordinary camera modes, Classic and Follow. If the experience developer has not locked camera mode, open the in-experience settings to switch between them. These modes affect how the camera behaves, not its FOV.
| Mode | Camera behavior |
|---|---|
| Classic | The camera stays fixed unless you adjust the viewpoint manually. |
| Follow | The camera rotates with your avatar as it moves right or left. |
In Classic mode on a computer, hold the right mouse button and drag to rotate the viewpoint. If Shift Lock Switch is enabled, press Shift to toggle camera modes. These instructions come from Roblox Support. Rotating the camera or changing modes is not an FOV adjustment.

Why zooming is not the same as changing FOV
Zoom changes how close the camera is to the scene; rotation changes the direction you are looking. FOV changes the angle of the visible world through the camera. A zoomed-out view may show more of the scene because the camera is farther away, but that does not establish that the FOV changed.

For developers, Roblox’s Camera reference defines Camera.FieldOfView as the camera’s vertical viewing angle. Its documented default is 70 degrees, and the property is clamped between 1 and 120 degrees. Those are engine property values, not choices exposed through a universal player menu. Each client has its own camera, and developers can customize camera behavior through the client camera system.
