How to reach the early Bellway secret area
- Travel to the Far Fields Bellway and use the nearby bench as a checkpoint before exploring.
- Go beneath the Bellway platform, then head right to find the vent passages.
- Follow the vents and work through the platforming and hazards. The guide describing this route warns of hostile enemies and red flower hazards.
- Continue through the passage until you open the shortcut back toward Pilgrim’s Rest. The guide also points to a missing-flea reward in this area.

How to reach the Act 3 Far Fields expansion
- Progress to Act 3 and reach the shrine in the large totem room in Hunter’s March.
- Use the late-game upward-movement ability at the shrine to ascend toward the bridge route.
- Follow the bridge and vent passages into the newly accessible Far Fields section.
Gamer Guides calls the ability Sky Soar; the Hollow Knight Wiki calls it Silk Soar. Because those names conflict, use the name displayed in your game rather than assuming either source’s label is definitive. How Far Fields connects to the rest of the map
The usual entrance to Far Fields is from Deep Docks: the documented route passes through Lace’s arena and a bellshrine gate, then uses Swift Step to cross a lava gap. An alternate route uses a Simple Key on the door south of Forge Daughter, makes the Swift Step jump, and continues through enemy chambers to the lower entrance. For broader exploration, the Silksong Map walkthrough suggests buying the Far Fields map from Shakra, activating the northern bench and Bellway, exploring the upper route to Pilgrim’s Rest, collecting the Warding Bell, and completing the Seamstress’ Flexile Spines request for Drifter’s Cloak. The cloak helps Hornet ride strong updrafts, which makes it useful for air-current traversal beyond these two secret routes.
