To sell on Warframe Market, list a tradable in-game item as a sell order, set a Platinum price, contact an interested player through the marketplace’s contact flow, and complete the exchange in Warframe. You must be Mastery Rank 2 or higher and have TennoGuard 2FA enabled.
Before you list: check your trading eligibility
Digital Extremes requires traders to be at least Mastery Rank 2 and to have TennoGuard two-factor authentication activated. See the official Trading FAQ & Safe Trading Tips for the current requirements.
Not every item in your inventory can be traded. Digital Extremes lists eligible categories such as most mods, certain unused Baro Ki’Teer and Syndicate weapons, Arcanes, Prime blueprints and Prime weapon components, normal Focus Lenses, Keys and Relics, Archwing weapon parts, Landing Craft blueprints, and pet imprints. Crafted Prime items are not tradable under the listed rule. Check the item’s current in-game eligibility before creating an order; owning an item does not necessarily mean you can sell it.
Warframe Market is a third-party fan site, not a service operated by Digital Extremes. It organizes offers, but the actual exchange takes place through Warframe’s Trading Interface. The site identifies itself as a fan site on its homepage.

Create a sell order
Find the item on Warframe Market and create a sell order with the item, your asking price in Platinum, and the quantity you have available. The marketplace’s API documentation describes the information its order system uses. Depending on the item, an order may also need details such as rank, charges, subtype, per-trade quantity, or Ayatan star counts. The API specifies minimums of 1 Platinum and quantity 1; these are marketplace order-data rules, not a promise about a particular screen or a recommended price.
Some items have variants or ranks that affect whether an offer is comparable. Make sure the order describes the item and its relevant details accurately so a buyer knows what you are offering.

Choose an asking price from comparable offers
Check current sell and buy orders for the same item before setting your price. Compare the item’s rank or variant, the quantity offered, and any per-trade size or other relevant details. Warframe Market’s API documentation describes item-specific top buy and sell orders, but a visible listing is a competing offer—not evidence that a buyer will complete a trade at that price or that it represents a guaranteed fair market value.
Contact an interested player
Use Warframe Market’s prescribed contact flow for the buyer or lister. The site’s terms describe a generated copy-and-paste message for contacting a player in game. If you cannot use that generated message, the terms allow a custom message only if the item and price are correct and you mention Warframe Market in the contact message—or in a follow-up within two minutes and before the lister responds.

Complete the trade in Warframe
After you and the buyer have agreed to trade, make the exchange in Warframe’s Trading Interface. Digital Extremes documents two locations:

At either location, both players select the items they are offering, ready, and confirm the trade. Both parties need enough Credits to cover trade tax, which is based on item rarity; a clan may also add an optional clan tax. Check the Platinum amount and every item shown in Warframe’s trade window before you confirm. Digital Extremes says the Platinum amount displayed in the interface is the amount you will receive. If either player changes the contents, review the full offer again before accepting. The support article warns that “Platinum Glitches” do not exist and states: “Please be aware that once the trade has been completed, it cannot be reversed.”
