In most cases, Roblox will not refund Robux just because you deleted, lost, or can no longer access an item you bought. Roblox says purchases generally cannot be refunded, including accidental purchases and items you no longer use. The right next step depends on whether you bought the item, Roblox removed something you created, or a payment was unauthorized.
If a purchased item disappeared or stopped working
Roblox’s guidance is that there is no way to get Robux back after a purchase. That includes accidental purchases and Avatar Shop or experience items that you lost or no longer use. Items moderated by Roblox or removed by their creator may not be eligible for a refund. Roblox’s purchase and refund FAQ does not promise a refund for a specific case.
If the item is malfunctioning or is not as described, you can still report the problem to Roblox Support. Provide your username, the item’s name and page link, and a detailed explanation of what happened. For billing questions, include the payment type, transaction date and amount, and any error message. Roblox’s support guidance asks users to describe the issue clearly; contacting support does not guarantee that Robux will be returned.
If Roblox removed content you created
A moderation appeal is different from a purchase refund: it asks Roblox to review a moderation decision about your account or content. Check the moderation notice for the appeal route. Use Violations & Appeals if the notice offers it; otherwise, submit the Roblox Support Form.

For a content appeal, Roblox asks for your account username, a brief reason for the appeal, the asset ID, and a link to the content. The moderation notice should guide you on the available route and timing.
- Roblox says appeals generally must be submitted within 30 days of the moderation action.
- Roblox states a separate six-month initial-appeal period for users in the EU. Check the notice and current regional guidance rather than assuming the general deadline applies to everyone.
- An appeal does not guarantee that the moderation consequence will be removed. Roblox says most moderated content typically cannot be restored; reviewed decisions and duplicate appeals are not reviewed again.

If the charge was unauthorized
For a payment you did not authorize, use the route for the payment provider—not the ordinary deleted-item process. First check the transaction descriptor and where you paid. Roblox advises customers with eligible credit or debit card, PayPal, and Google Play charges to contact Roblox before disputing the charge. Its current guidance says Apple/iTunes, Microsoft, PlayStation, Meta Quest, Samsung, and Amazon purchases must be handled by the respective provider.
- A charge listed as “Xsolla*Roblox” should be taken to Xsolla.
- A charge listed as “Roblox” without the Xsolla prefix should be reported to Roblox Support.
- For Apple/iTunes, Microsoft, PlayStation, Meta Quest, Samsung, or Amazon purchases, contact that provider.
Roblox’s unauthorized-charge guidance says it cannot issue a direct or immediate refund through its process after a charge has been disputed. It also warns that unauthorized purchases can put associated accounts at risk. Do not report a normal purchase you regret as unauthorized.
