How to Remove an Agent in Minecraft Education

Use /remove @c in Minecraft Education to remove your own Agent. The all-Agent selector is /remove @v and requires Worldbuilder permission.

In Minecraft Education, open chat and run /remove @c to remove your own Agent. If you mean every Agent in the world, /remove @v targets them all, but the official documentation says only Worldbuilders can use that scope.

Remove your own Agent

  1. Confirm you are playing Minecraft Education and using its Code Builder Agent feature; the documented selectors are for this edition.
  2. Open the in-game chat or command input.
  3. Enter /remove @c and submit it. The Minecraft Education Code Builder documentation identifies @c as the selector for your Agent.

Remove all Agents instead

If you are authorized to clear every Agent, use /remove @v. Minecraft Education’s Code Builder documentation says this targets all Agents and that only Worldbuilders can target all Agents. This is a broader action than removing your own Agent, so use it only when that is what you intend.

If the command is blocked

If Minecraft reports insufficient permissions, ask the teacher or world owner to run the command or review your role and permissions. Minecraft Education says many Agent commands require Operator permissions; a support discussion also says Operator status is needed for /remove @c, though permissions may depend on the world setup.

Why not use /remove @e?

@e is not the safe selector for a one-Agent cleanup: it targets entities as well as Agents, as described in the Minecraft command reference. The Code Builder documentation notes that when the command user is not a Worldbuilder, other players’ Agents are excepted. Avoid this broad selector for the task of removing just your own Agent.

Does this work in other Minecraft editions?

The cited command documentation covers Minecraft Education. It does not establish that these selectors work in Java Edition or every Bedrock context, so do not assume /remove @c is available outside Minecraft Education.
