If you missed the AMR Mod 4’s limited-time event, the reported post-event route is an Armory XP challenge: select the rifle under Barracks > Challenges and earn 250,000 XP in any game mode. That AMR-specific requirement comes from Game8’s January 28, 2025 guide, not an official current confirmation. Check your own game client to see whether the challenge is available.
How the AMR Mod 4 was originally unlocked
The AMR Mod 4 first appeared in Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 01 as a reward in the limited-time Archie’s Festival Frenzy event. It was an event reward, not a Season 01 Battle Pass unlock. If you were playing while the event was active, you needed to progress that event to claim the weapon.

How to unlock it after the event
Call of Duty said missed Season 01 event weapons were likely to become earnable through the Armory after their events ended. Its Season 01 overview places the Armory at Barracks > Challenges. Game8 later reported the AMR Mod 4’s specific Armory requirement as 250,000 XP in any mode.
- Open Barracks > Challenges and look for the Armory challenge.
- Select AMR Mod 4 as the active unlock challenge if it is listed.
- Earn XP in any game mode until you reach the required total. Game8’s January 28, 2025 guide gives that total as 250,000 XP.
Call of Duty’s official announcement supports the general post-event Armory route, but does not give the AMR-specific XP figure. Treat 250,000 XP as the requirement reported by Game8, rather than a currently verified official figure.

Menus and weapon availability can change. The available official information does not confirm where this challenge appears in the 2026 Warzone client or establish that it remains available in the current Warzone integration. Check the challenge list in your own client before committing to the unlock; do not assume that an older menu path or requirement is still active if the AMR Mod 4 is not listed.

Call of Duty describes the AMR Mod 4 as a semi-automatic sniper rifle with a six-round magazine and 38 weapon levels. Its official profile notes high recoil and a slow rate of fire, while also stating that you can steady your aim while aiming down sights. Those details describe the weapon; they do not change the Armory unlock steps.
