League of Legends does not show a lifetime-hours counter in its client. The client’s career-stats page was removed in Patch 14.16. You can still estimate playtime with a third-party calculator that totals the match records it can retrieve, but treat the result as an estimate—not a verified total for your account.
Get an estimate with a League playtime calculator
- Open a third-party League playtime calculator, such as BoostRoyal’s Time Wasted on LoL.
- Enter your Riot ID and select the correct region if the calculator asks for it.
- Review the result as an estimate based on the match durations the service can find. BoostRoyal describes its method as adding match durations and reporting the total in days and hours; this is the provider’s description, not a Riot guarantee of complete account coverage.
Third-party sites rely on match data they can access. OP.GG notes that matches unsupported by Riot’s official API may not appear in its player statistics, so an estimate can omit games.

Why League no longer has a career-stats page
Riot removed the client’s career-stats page in Patch 14.16, published August 13, 2024. The page provided career statistics and match history; Riot did not describe it as a lifetime playtime tracker. Riot said fewer than 3% of players used it and pointed players to statistics sites including Mobalytics, League of Graphs, OP.GG, U.GG, Tracker Network, and Blitz. The removal of the career-stats page was separate from Riot’s 2021 closure of its web match-history service. Riot said at the time that match history would remain in the client and that third parties would continue to have access to match data. Riot’s announcement

Do not confuse app runtime with time spent in matches
A desktop app’s playtime counter may measure how long a process has been running rather than the duration of games. OP.GG says its app can miss games when it is not running and can keep counting while only the League client is open. That figure can therefore differ from active in-match time.
