It lists Hoopa separately as a Mythical Pokémon. This is a featured list, not a complete Hyperspace Lumiose Pokédex or a guarantee that only these Pokémon appear in the DLC.
Officially featured Mega Dimension Pokémon
The official Mega Dimension Pokémon page presents seven newly discovered Mega forms. Nintendo separately confirms that Mega Chimecho and Mega Baxcalibur debut in the DLC. The available official pages do not provide a complete species-by-species roster or encounter locations for every Pokémon in Hyperspace Lumiose.

Hoopa is listed separately
The official Pokémon page includes Hoopa under Mythical Pokémon, rather than among the seven newly discovered Mega forms. In the story, Hoopa accompanies Ansha and helps open portals into Hyperspace Lumiose. The official listing does not make Hoopa an eighth new Mega Evolution.
What the Hyperspace Pokédex label does—and does not—mean
Mega Dimension adds story content after the main story of Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Spatial distortions appear around Lumiose City, and Hoopa turns them into portals to Hyperspace Lumiose, an otherworldly version of the city. Pokémon found there include species not found in regular Lumiose; some have hyperspace levels that can push their total levels above the usual level-100 limit.

The official trailer article describes the setting and says players may encounter rare Pokémon or previously unseen Mega forms, but it does not publish a complete encounter table. So the names above are the officially featured DLC Pokémon—not an exhaustive list of every returning species players can encounter. The official sources cited here also do not establish individual Hyperspace Lumiose locations or capture steps for every listed form.
How to access Mega Dimension
- Own Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Nintendo says a copy of the game must be on the system where the DLC is loaded. Mega Dimension is compatible with the original game and the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.
- Get the DLC separately. Nintendo lists Mega Dimension for purchase for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. It uses the same save data as the base game.
- Complete the base game’s main story. This is required to progress through the DLC story.
Nintendo’s support page lists the Holo-X and Holo-Y apparel as available from October 16, 2025, and the additional story content—including the two Raichu Mega Stones—as available from December 9, 2025. The official Pokémon announcement gave December 10, 2025 as the story release date, so the sources differ by one day; Nintendo’s current support listing is the practical reference for availability.

Keep Diancie’s side mission separate
Nintendo describes Diancie as a separate base-game side mission, not part of the Mega Dimension DLC Pokémon list. The stated route is to claim Diancite through Mystery Gift, go to the Looker Bureau, and complete “Shine Bright like a Gemstone.” Completing that mission adds Diancie to the team and enables its Mega Evolution.
