To unlock the Hunter’s March bench, break the wall immediately to its left and hit the lever in the hidden room before you sit down. The lever disables the swinging-axe trap; sitting first can cost two health masks, according to PCGamesN’s guide.
Where to find the Hunter’s March bench
The bench sits high on the left side of Hunter’s March’s large central tunnel, at the end of a small tunnel. PCGamesN’s route begins at Shakra: head right, use the wind current to reach the first path on the left, then continue left into the bench room. The climb can be difficult; returning later with more movement skills can make it easier, though the available guides do not establish that any specific ability is required.

How to disarm the bench trap
- Approach the bench, but do not sit on it yet.
- Break through the wall immediately to the bench’s left.
- Enter the hidden room and strike the lever.
- Return to the bench and sit down.
PCGamesN reports that sitting before activating the lever triggers a swinging axe that removes two health masks. GamesRadar+ also confirms that the lever in the secret room disables the trap; see its Hunter’s March walkthrough and map.
