To unlock the Grand Hub in Monster Hunter Wilds, reach Hunter Rank 16 or higher, progress the main story through at least Chapter 3, update the game to the latest version, then speak to Tetsuzan in Suja, the Peaks of Accord. The official announcement says this also adds a Grand Hub fast-travel option to your map.
Grand Hub unlock requirements
- Hunter Rank: HR 16 or higher.
- Story progress: Complete the story through at least Chapter 3.
- Game version: Update to the latest version, as Capcom USA advises.
- NPC: Speak to Tetsuzan in Suja, the Peaks of Accord.
PlayStation Blog gives the HR 16 threshold and Tetsuzan’s location; the official Monster Hunter Wilds Steam announcement specifies the Chapter 3 story milestone and says the unlock adds fast travel. How to unlock it
- Continue the main story until you have completed it through at least Chapter 3 and reached HR 16 or higher.
- Update Monster Hunter Wilds to the latest version.
- Go to Suja, the Peaks of Accord, and speak to Tetsuzan.
- After access is granted, open the map and look for the Grand Hub fast-travel option.
If Tetsuzan does not offer access
Check that your Hunter Rank is at least 16, that your story progress has reached Chapter 3, and that the game is updated. These are the conditions specified in the official guidance; it does not describe any additional hidden trigger or troubleshooting steps.
