Grand Theft Auto VI’s official launch platforms are PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with Rockstar currently listing November 19, 2026 as its release date. The official platform information does not list a PC version or date, so the striking footage comes with a frustrating unknown for PC players: Rockstar has not announced when—or whether—a PC edition will arrive.
Which GTA 6 trailer is the latest?
Rockstar’s official GTA VI page currently features Trailer 2 and an “An Extended Look” video, with the page’s news listing dating the extended look to August 27, 2026. Trailer 2 was released on May 6, 2025, according to Take-Two’s announcement. So “latest trailer” can mean different footage: the widely discussed Trailer 2 or the newer extended look now featured by Rockstar.
Both pieces of official video can showcase the game’s world and presentation, but neither changes the practical platform question. Rockstar’s GTA VI page is the place to check its current videos, date, and platform list.
Is GTA 6 coming to PC?
Rockstar’s current official platform list names PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S; it does not name PC. No PC version or PC release date is established by the official information reviewed. That means a PC edition is unannounced—not that Rockstar has confirmed it will never happen.

The distinction matters because online predictions often treat a possible later PC release as settled. PC Gamer’s discussion of PC timing is expectation based on Rockstar’s past release patterns, not an announcement from Rockstar or Take-Two. Until the publisher confirms a PC version, any specific timing is speculation.
When is GTA 6 coming to PC?
There is no confirmed PC release date. Rockstar currently lists November 19, 2026 for GTA VI, but that date applies to the announced console launch, not a PC edition. Because Rockstar’s date and platform information can change, check the official page for the latest listing rather than relying on an old trailer or a predicted PC window.

Why isn’t GTA 6 on PC at launch?
Rockstar has not provided an official explanation in the platform information cited here for why PC is absent from the launch list. It is therefore not possible to say whether the omission reflects a planned later port, a business decision, technical priorities, or something else. The confirmed fact is narrower: the announced launch platforms are PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

- Wait for a PC announcement. This avoids buying another platform for one game, but leaves the timing—and the existence of a PC edition—uncertain.
- Play on a confirmed launch platform. If you are willing to use a console, Rockstar lists PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Its support page says physical copies contain a download code, and that pre-orders are for those two consoles; the physical version should not be mistaken for a PC disc or code. There are no confirmed PC system requirements to use for a hardware decision, and no reliable PC launch window to plan around. For now, the choice is whether playing on a listed console is worth it to you or whether you would rather wait for Rockstar to say more.
