Yes. The melody commonly called Zelda’s Lullaby—or Zelda’s Theme—appears in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. An academic music analysis labels the game passage “Princess Zelda’s Rescue,” rather than establishing “Zelda’s Lullaby” as the original in-game cue title.

What is the song called in A Link to the Past?

The title depends on whether you mean the recurring melody or this game’s passage. A Tufts-hosted academic analysis describes the recurring melody as “Zelda’s Theme, or Zelda’s Lullaby” and labels its A Link to the Past example “Princess Zelda’s Rescue.” The analysis also identifies that version as the closest to the melody’s prototype among the versions it compares. Read the music analysis.

So if you are looking for the melody, yes, it is there. If you are looking for the name attached to the specific passage in that analysis, it is “Princess Zelda’s Rescue.” The evidence does not establish that the original game displays the cue under the exact title “Zelda’s Lullaby.”

Where can you find a recording?

Original game passage

The analysis identifies the passage as being from A Link to the Past (1991). It is the game example discussed there, not a claim that every later recording with a similar title is the original game audio.

Later arrangement

The 2017 album The Celtic Link: Themes from “The Legend of Zelda” lists a track called “Zelda’s Lullaby,” credits Koji Kondo, and attributes the piece to A Link to the Past. That listing documents an arrangement recording; it does not establish that the album contains the original in-game recording. View the album track-list PDF.

Nintendo Music

Nintendo’s official music page lists an A Link to the Past playlist and says the service requires a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership. The page cited here does not confirm whether this particular passage is included. See Nintendo’s playlist page.
