Stranger Things: Welcome to the Hellfire Club is no longer upcoming: Wizards of the Coast lists the collaborative Dungeons & Dragons board game as released on October 7, 2025. It brings Eddie Munson’s lost adventures to a boxed game built around four adventures.
What is Stranger Things: Welcome to the Hellfire Club?
It is a collaborative D&D board game inspired by Stranger Things, centered on the adventures of Eddie Munson’s Hellfire Club. The official Wizards of the Coast store describes it as a collaborative game featuring Eddie’s lost adventures and lists four adventures with “hours of play possibilities.” Wizards of the Coast product page
D&D Beyond places the game in spring 1986, situating its story in the world of the series. D&D Beyond
How many players can play?
The official listings give different player-count descriptions, so there is no single count that can be stated confidently across all sources. The Wizards of the Coast store says 3–6 players; Wizards Play Network lists 3–5; D&D Beyond describes 2–4 players and a Dungeon Master. - OFFICIALLY LICENSED STRANGER THINGS APPAREL: The Hellfire Club baseball tee styles the fictional Hawkins High Dungeons and Dragons club onto a wearable raglan built for fans of the series.
- FABRIC: Constructed from a 60% cotton 40% polyester blend that keeps the body soft and breathable while the poly content helps the raglan hold its shape and resist shrinking through repeated wear.
- FIT AND CONSTRUCTION: Cut in a standard fit with a classic crew neck and contrast three quarter length raglan sleeves in black against a white body. Customers who prefer a looser look may want to size up.
- GRAPHIC: Features the Hellfire Club emblem in a bold center front print, a red horned demon head framed by crossed swords, a spiked flail, dice and chains beneath arched Hellfire Club lettering.
- CARE AND SIZING: Machine wash cold inside out with like colors and tumble dry low to protect the print and reduce fading. Available in men's sizes S through 2XL in a standard fit.

Is it a conventional D&D campaign?
The clearest way to think of it is as a collaborative boxed D&D experience organized around four adventures, with the series’ Hellfire Club theme at its center. That makes it a natural fit for players seeking a defined Stranger Things tie-in rather than a general-purpose campaign setting. The available product descriptions do not establish details about play balance or how much the adventures vary on repeat plays.
When did it come out, and what do you need?
The listed release date was October 7, 2025, according to both the Wizards of the Coast store and the Wizards Play Network. The Wizards store page also references a digital adventure pack, but the available product information does not establish that any extra accessory is required to play.
