Announced by Saber Interactive and Lionsgate on February 12, 2026, it is planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with an original story set years before the Impossible Task.
When is the John Wick game coming out?
There is no announced release date or release window. Saber’s announcement said to wait for the official title and date, and the current PlayStation listing still says the date is to be determined. It also has no announced price, preorder date, or edition details.

A MeriStation/AS report updated October 4, 2026 speculated that the game might arrive in 2027 or 2028, but those years are a reporter’s estimate, not a confirmed window. MeriStation/AS report
What platforms will the John Wick game be on?
The announced platforms are PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. PlayStation describes the game as one-player action. No platform-specific performance, feature, or release-timing differences have been announced, and the available information does not establish whether it will come to other systems.

What is the John Wick game about?
The game will tell an original story within the John Wick timeline, set years before the Impossible Task. Its official description says players will encounter familiar characters as well as new ones created for the game. The specific plot and cast have not been detailed, so claims about Wick’s training, the Ruska Roma, or the Impossible Task itself remain speculation.
What gameplay has Saber announced?
The official pitch includes a distinct gun-fu combat system, cinematic camerawork, neo-noir environments, and intense driving sequences. These are announced design aims, not a hands-on demonstration or proof of how the finished game will play. Who is making the game, and is Keanu Reeves involved?
Saber Interactive and Lionsgate announced the project in collaboration with John Wick director Chad Stahelski. Saber also names Keanu Reeves among its collaborators. That confirms his involvement in the project, but the announcement does not spell out his specific role or confirm details such as voice or performance capture.
