The four-set range included Peely Bone, a 1,414-piece model of Fortnite’s banana character—so the headline’s “peel a banana too hard” is a joke about Peely, not a LEGO claim or product feature.
What were LEGO’s first official Fortnite sets?
The LEGO Group described the 2024 collection as its first range of LEGO sets inspired by characters, places and items in the LEGO Fortnite game. It comprised four builds: Durrr Burger, Supply Llama, Peely Bone and Battle Bus. LEGO announced them and opened preorders on July 23, 2024; the company said they would be available to all from October 1, 2024. LEGO’s July 23 announcement is the source for the launch details below.
The banana wordplay points to Peely, Fortnite’s banana character, and the Peely Bone set. LEGO’s announcement does not say anything about peeling bananas; the phrase is just a playful hook.

Which original set fits which kind of fan?
- For a small character display: Durrr Burger is the smallest and least expensive at its US launch price, with a compact mascot build.
- For an accessory-heavy character build: Supply Llama includes a collection of recognizable in-game items.
- For Peely fans and experienced builders: Peely Bone is the largest piece count in the original range and carries LEGO’s 18+ age guidance.
- For a vehicle or game-world display: Battle Bus recreates the vehicle with rolling wheels and a removable roof.
The listed ages are manufacturer guidance, not a measure of difficulty or a claim that a set is suitable only for that age group.

LEGO says LEGO Fortnite launched in December 2023 as the first play experience from its long-term partnership with Epic Games. The physical sets followed in 2024. In an announcement dated April 24, 2025, LEGO introduced a separate later wave: Peely & Sparkplug’s Camp (77075), Durrr Burger Restaurant (77076), Klombo (77077) and Mecha Team Leader (77078). LEGO scheduled the first three for June 1, 2025, and Mecha Team Leader for August 1, 2025. The later announcement explicitly characterized the 2024 products as the first-ever physical LEGO Fortnite sets. LEGO’s April 2025 announcement covers that follow-up wave.

LEGO product-page availability and retirement information can vary by country and change over time. For example, the original 77070 page showed it as retired in the UK when checked, while the US page listed $14.99; that US page state should not be treated as a guarantee of current stock or a universal price. Check LEGO’s US Durrr Burger 77070 page and UK Durrr Burger 77070 page for their respective market listings.
