Kingdom Come: Deliverance II’s Barber Mode was previewed in a developer livestream before launching in Patch 1.2 on March 13, 2025. The update lets players change Henry’s appearance at barbers in Zhelejov and Kuttenberg; later patches added a bald hairstyle and addressed barber-related bugs.
What the livestream announced
Warhorse Studios announced its first post-launch developer livestream on February 28, 2025. The official Steam announcement named PR Manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling and Design Lead Prokop Jirsa as presenters, and said they would showcase two upcoming free DLCs: Barber’s Mode and Hardcore Mode.

A March 5 preview by Insider Gaming reported that the team showed hairstyle and facial-hair sets, including beard and mullet options. That was a preview, not confirmation of the eventual release date or the full set of options in the released feature.
When Barber Mode launched and where to use it
Barber Mode was live with Patch 1.2 on March 13, 2025. The official Patch 1.2 announcement says players can get “a fresh cut in Zhelejov and Kuttenberg.” Those are the two locations named in the announcement; it does not specify a broader list of barber locations.

The timeline clarifies the change from announcement to release: the February livestream notice described Barber’s Mode as upcoming free DLC, while Patch 1.2 announced that the feature was live. The March 5 report’s lack of a confirmed date applied only at that time.

Patch 1.2.4: bald hairstyle and a visual fix
Later official Patch 1.2.4 notes added a bald hairstyle option for Henry. They also fixed shadow flickering under certain weather conditions.

Hotfix 1.5.2: barber and haircut fixes
PLAION Support’s Hotfix 1.5.2 notes document two further barber-related fixes. Barbers could fail to work when loading saves from version 1.3 or older if the relevant barbers had previously been killed. The notes also address the Bone Dome haircut clipping into view while Henry reads a book seated.
These later notes show that barber behavior and a hairstyle received maintenance; they do not establish that Hotfix 1.5.2 is the latest version of the game.
