Yes. In Stormwind, use the Exodar portal in the Alliance Portal Room to reach Azuremyst Isle in Kalimdor. The room is inside the Wizard’s Sanctum in the Mage Quarter.
Where is the Stormwind portal to Kalimdor?
- Go to the Mage Quarter in Stormwind and enter the Wizard’s Sanctum.
- Follow the ramp through the portal arch into the main Portal Room.
- Use the portal labeled Exodar. It takes you to Azuremyst Isle, which is part of Kalimdor. Blizzard’s Portal Room overview lists Exodar among the available destinations.
Are there other Stormwind routes to Kalimdor?
Yes, but they lead to specific destinations rather than providing a general portal labeled for the entire continent.
| Route | Destination | Access |
|---|---|---|
| Portal Room | Exodar, on Azuremyst Isle | Listed among Stormwind’s Portal Room destinations by Blizzard’s portal overview. |
| Portal Room | Ramkahen, in Uldum | The transportation guide says this route becomes available after the initial quest series. |
| Portal Room | Nordrassil, in Mount Hyjal | The transportation guide says this route becomes available after the initial quest series. |
| Stormwind Harbor | Darnassus | The transportation guide lists this as a harbor route. |
What if the Exodar portal is missing?
Portal availability and destinations can vary with game version and character progression. Check the options in your game client; additional routes may require completing their initial quest series, according to the transportation guide. Blizzard’s Portal Room overview dates to 2019, so it may not reflect every later change.
