It depends on which unit you mean by “Crazed Cat.” If you mean Crazed Wall Cat versus regular Wall Cat, community guides favor Crazed Wall as the faster defensive wall, while using both can add frontline coverage. When to use both
If your strategy calls for more walling, community players suggest deploying Crazed Wall and regular Wall together. That gives you additional frontline coverage rather than forcing a strict either-or choice. Whether that suits your lineup depends on how much defensive support the stage and your other units require.
How to choose for your lineup
- Need a faster wall: Favor Crazed Wall based on community descriptions of its speed.
- Need more frontline coverage: Try both Crazed Wall and regular Wall if your lineup can accommodate them.
- Comparing basic Crazed Cat with Wall Cat: Do not treat them as interchangeable walls; the available evidence does not establish a detailed ranking between those specific units.
- Still progressing: Use the defensive unit you have unlocked and can level, then adjust if your lineup needs another frontline option.
Unlocking the Crazed units
PONOS’s 2019 event notice says clearing a Crazed stage awards the named Crazed Cat. It also says players must clear Empire of Cats Chapter 1 before entering Crazed stages, and all nine Crazed stages before Manic stages. This is a historical progression notice, not a current event calendar, so it should not be used to infer when a stage is available today. PONOS: “Crazed Festival! All Crazed Cats Appear!”
