In Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, the returning Kerotan frog Easter egg is tied to the silver trophy “It Ain’t Easy Being Green.” To earn it, attack all 64 Kerotans. The game also has a separate collectible trophy for the GA-KO ducks, so those do not count toward the frog trophy.
What the Kerotan trophy requires
Find and attack all 64 Kerotans to unlock “It Ain’t Easy Being Green.” Kerotans are the green frog collectibles carried over from Metal Gear Solid 3. The trophy requirement is for the frogs specifically, not for collecting every item in the game. Push Square’s trophy guide and PC Gamer’s Kerotan location guide both document the 64-frog requirement.
Kerotans and GA-KO ducks have separate trophies
Delta also includes 64 GA-KO duck collectibles. They are a different collectible set with their own trophy, “It’s Duck Season.” Collecting or attacking ducks does not replace the Kerotan requirement for “It Ain’t Easy Being Green.” Push Square’s guide lists the two trophy objectives separately.
Use a location guide if you want to complete the set
PC Gamer’s guide to all Kerotan locations gives a location-by-location walkthrough and flags areas that can become inaccessible. That warning matters if you are trying to finish the collectible set in one run: check the relevant location before progressing past a point of no return. The guide also reports Stealth Camo as a completion reward alongside the trophy or achievement.

What is known about progress across saves
The published trophy and location guides establish the all-64 condition, but do not establish whether Kerotan progress carries across save files or playthroughs. Do not assume partial collections will accumulate between runs; if you need a definitive answer for your current save, verify it in-game rather than relying on an unconfirmed carryover claim.

Konami announced that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater released on August 27, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. The trophy name and requirement are described in trophy guides, while the location guide also uses the platform-neutral term “achievement”; exact platform reward terminology can differ. Konami’s release announcement identifies the platforms and launch date.
