ARK: Survival Ascended’s Power Rangers crossover expanded with a second premium mod release reported available on February 6, 2025. Wave 2 adds seven character skins with unique emotes, four Zord-themed skins for existing creatures and a MEK, plus six weapons. Its reported launch price was $9.99; that is a historical price, and current availability and pricing have not been verified.
What Wave 2 adds
Character skins and emotes
The reported Wave 2 roster includes Green Ranger, White Ranger, Lord Zedd, Rita Repulsa, Goldar, Alpha 5 and Putty. Each character was reported to have a unique emote.
Zord-themed creature skins
The pack lists four Zord-themed skins, each associated with an existing ARK creature rather than a newly added playable Zord:
- White Tigerzord for Thylacoleo
- Titanus for Bronto
- Green Dragonzord for Giga
- Megazord for MEK
Weapons
Wave 2 was reported to include six new weapons. Named examples are Zedd’s staff, the Green Dagger and the White Saba Sword; those are examples, not a complete list.

What the announcement says about the mod economy
Overwolf CEO Uri Marchand said the company was seeing “thousands of mods downloaded and over seven figures in revenue” as evidence of a growing user-generated-content economy. That was his broad characterization of the UGC economy, not an audited sales figure for the Power Rangers Wave 2 mod.
