Its 2-D beat-’em-up action is joined by arcade-style shooting and driving, plus Dinozord and Megazord sequences. It is listed for PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.
What kind of game is Rita’s Rewind?
The beat-’em-up label fits, but it does not describe the whole game. The official PlayStation listing combines 2-D brawling with arcade-style shooting and driving sequences. It also describes enemies from the television series, remixed episodes, piloting the original Dinozords and Megazord battles. PlayStation Blog has described a first-person Megazord boss encounter.
These are official platform and publisher descriptions, not a firsthand assessment of how the sequences play or how well they fit together. Hasbro introduced the game as a licensed Power Rangers title, and Digital Eclipse is the developer. The PlayStation listing names Atari Inc. as publisher.

- In Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind, the team faces off against a robotic reincarnation of the Power Rangers' long-time nemesis. Robo Rita has conjured a portal to send herself back in time so she can finally vanquish the Power Rangers by forming an alliance with her younger self. Working together, Robo Rita and Rita Repulsa rewind, rewrite, and remix the past in an attempt to stop the very formation of the Power Rangers, altering the course of history.

What the official descriptions establish—and what they don’t
Hasbro described retro gaming as a growing genre in a December 12, 2024 newsroom article. That statement is attributed to Barry Dorf, Hasbro’s VP of Licensing for Digital Gaming; it is a comment, not a measured statistic about this game. Current review counts and ratings can change, and they are not a substitute for sales or performance data.
The platform pages establish the game’s listed platforms, release date and advertised gameplay elements. They do not provide a tested performance comparison across versions or enough information to make claims about which platform runs best.
