The More Spores for Hoppip event has ended. It ran from March 10, 2026, at 5:00 a.m. through March 25, 2026, at 4:59 p.m. local time. During that limited-time event, eligible players collected Cotton Spores, traded them for picnic-themed furniture, and used the furniture to befriend Skiploom and Jumpluff.
What was the More Spores for Hoppip event?
More Spores for Hoppip was Pokémon Pokopia’s first limited-time in-game event. Hoppip was the featured Pokémon, and the event’s progression connected a special currency, Cotton Spores, with furniture and new Pokémon encounters. The Pokémon Company announced that Skiploom and Jumpluff could not be encountered outside the event, describing them as new friends players could welcome to their towns.
The event was open only in towns where the Pokémon Center had been rebuilt. It was not available on Cloud Islands. The announced dates used local time; they do not represent one shared time zone worldwide. The schedule has passed, and the announcement does not say whether or when the event will return. The Pokémon Company’s announcement covers the schedule and eligibility.
How did players start the event?
The official access condition was having a rebuilt Pokémon Center in the town. Practical event guides describe finding Hoppip outside the Pokémon Center and interacting with it to proceed, but that specific interaction detail comes from guide coverage rather than the official announcement.

For practical instructions, Nintendo Life’s event guide describes the Hoppip encounter and the event shop. The Pokémon Company’s announcement confirms the rebuilt-center requirement and Cloud Islands exclusion, but does not provide a detailed menu-by-menu walkthrough.
Where did Cotton Spores come from?
Cotton Spores were the event currency. Guides report that players collected them on Dream Islands, with Drifloon involved in the trip in the event flow described by PokopiaDex. The official announcement confirms that Cotton Spores could be collected during the event, but does not specify Dream Islands as the collection location.

How did the furniture help players befriend Skiploom and Jumpluff?
The event’s furniture was more than decoration: players could use it to create habitats that allowed them to befriend Skiploom and Jumpluff. The official announcement confirms that relationship between event items, habitats, and the two Pokémon, but does not identify exact habitat recipes or attraction odds.

No. The announced event ended on March 25, 2026, at 4:59 p.m. local time.
