The Gamescom 2025 trailer for Project Motor Racing revealed wet-weather racing, confirmed Porsche’s inclusion and highlighted a mix of modern GT cars, prototypes and historic racers. It also named five circuits, including Spa and the Nürburgring Nordschleife. The game has since launched, on November 25, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
What the Gamescom trailer showed
Traxion’s report, published August 19, 2025, described the Gamescom trailer as the first look at wet-weather racing and newly announced cars and circuits. Its Porsche reveal spans present-day competition and historic machinery, alongside cars from Aston Martin and Ford. The report listed these models:
| Manufacturer | Cars highlighted | Era or category |
|---|---|---|
| Porsche | 2023 963; 1970 917K; 911 GT3 R (992); 911 GT1-98; 962C | Modern prototype and GT machinery, plus historic prototypes |
| Aston Martin | 2025 Valkyrie; AMR Vantage GT3 Evo | Modern hypercar and GT3 |
| Ford | 2024 Mustang GT4 | Modern GT4 |
The model years and names above are those reported by Traxion on August 19, 2025; the trailer coverage does not establish that this is the complete car roster at launch.
Which tracks appeared in the report?
The same Gamescom report named five circuits:
- Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium
- Nürburgring Nordschleife in Germany
- Monza in Italy
- Donington Park in England
- Mount Panorama, also known as Bathurst, in Australia
Traxion described the planned circuit offering at the time as 28 layouts across 18 locations. That is a trailer-era product specification, not a count of the five named circuits alone or a claim that every layout was shown in the trailer. The report does not, by itself, establish the final launch lineup.

What the trailer said about wet-weather racing
The Gamescom coverage described True2Track as including adaptive racing lines that change as a surface dries, alongside a 24-hour day-and-night cycle. A later GIANTS Software press-center description, dated October 17, 2025, gives a broader account of the publisher’s intended surface model: weather transitions, puddle formation and drainage, drying lines, rubber buildup, changing grip and marbles. Steam also describes dynamic weather and a 24-hour cycle.
These are feature descriptions from the publisher and store listing, not independent test results. GIANTS called the system “PMR’s primarily GPU-driven surface model that evolves lap-by-lap” in its October 17, 2025 press-center item.
