There is no defensible all-time ranking of PlayStation 5 games by review count in the available data. Why there is no verified most-reviewed PS5 ranking
A review-count ranking must compare the number of reviews directly. The available Metacritic PS5 pages do not do that: its critic catalog is ordered by Metascore, while its user catalog is ordered by user score. Those rankings answer which games scored highest, not which accumulated the largest number of reviews.

Metacritic says titles with fewer than seven critic reviews are excluded from its all-time PS5 catalog. That is an eligibility threshold, not a count-based ranking or evidence that titles shown near the top have the most reviews. Review counts, critic scores, and player ratings are different measures
- Critic review count: the number of professional reviews included by a particular source.
- User-rating count: the number of player ratings or reviews recorded by a platform. This is a different population and may use different submission rules.

These measures should not be combined into one ranking unless the method explicitly explains how. A game with a high score may have fewer reviews than one with a lower score.

What a trustworthy ranking would need
To publish a meaningful list of the PS5 games with the most reviews, the ranking would need to state:
- Whether it counts professional critic reviews, player ratings, or another defined measure.
- The source and the PS5-specific platform filter used for every title.
- The date the counts were captured, because totals can change.
- Whether multiplatform games use only their PS5 counts or a combined total across platforms.
- How remasters, editions, expansions, and bundled releases are treated.
Without those details and comparable counts, putting familiar or highly rated titles in ranked order would imply evidence that is not available. OpenCritic’s PS5 browse page did not provide verified comparable review-count figures for this list, so it cannot fill that gap.

How to read PS5 “best games” lists
Check the metric before treating a list as a popularity or review-volume ranking. A page headed “best,” “top rated,” or “all time” may order games by critic score or user score. For example, Metacritic’s PS5 catalog is a score-based catalog, and its seven-review minimum merely determines which titles appear. It should not be read as a list of the games with the most reviews.
