ARC Raiders’ Headwinds 1.13.0 update added two Epic Augments: Tactical Mk. 3 Revival and Survivor Mk. 3 Safekeeper. Guides say to find their blueprints through looting, but neither confirms a fixed spawn, guaranteed route, or drop rate. The official patch notes confirm that two new Epic Augment types were added, but don’t name them or give their stats.
What are the two new Epic Augments?
The names and item details below come from an Insider Gaming guide; Embark’s Headwinds 1.13.0 patch notes announce “2 new types of Epic Augments” without specifying their names, effects, or shield compatibility.
| Augment | Reported effect | Reported shield compatibility |
|---|---|---|
| Tactical Mk. 3 Revival | Restores 1 health every 5 seconds. The effect pauses for 30 seconds after you take damage. The guide also describes an integrated Defib. | Light |
| Survivor Mk. 3 Safekeeper | Has a safe pocket that can store any item, including weapons. | Light, medium, and heavy |
These are guide-reported details, not attributes published in Embark’s patch notes. One other guide calls Safekeeper “Looting Mk. 3 (Safekeeper),” so you may see that alternate name in coverage.
How do you get the Augments?
Guides describe finding the blueprints through looting; they do not identify a guaranteed pickup. Once you find a blueprint, use it to obtain the corresponding Augment. The available sources do not give a verified drop percentage or a confirmed number of runs needed.

Where guides recommend searching
- High-loot areas: Insider Gaming recommends searching lockers and cabinets, especially during major map conditions such as Night Raid or Electromagnetic Storm. It names Stella Montis as a useful map to search.
- Named locations: KeenGamer recommends Blue Gate’s Reinforced Reception and Augment containers on Stella Montis.
These are third-party guide suggestions, not official spawn locations or guarantees. The guides were published around the update’s launch, and their route recommendations have not been confirmed for the live build in October 2026. Search where it suits your run, but don’t treat any one location or map condition as a sure way to get a blueprint.
