Monument Valley: Panoramic Collection is a good fit if you want two atmospheric, single-player puzzle games built around impossible architecture, with panoramic artwork and advertised 21:9 ultrawide support on PC. The package pairs Monument Valley and Monument Valley 2, and its Steam description says their released chapters and DLC are included. Its appeal is visual design and mood rather than a sprawling challenge; the available evidence does not establish a dependable total playtime.
What is in the Panoramic Collection?
The Panoramic Collection refers to the PC pairing of the first two games: Monument Valley and Monument Valley 2. The Steam listing says every chapter, add-on, and DLC for the games is included. The original game’s Steam release is dated July 12, 2022, and PC Gamer’s launch coverage also reported that both PC editions arrived with previously released DLC.
Do not confuse this package with Steam’s separately displayed “The Collection” bundle, which contains Monument Valley, Monument Valley 2, and Monument Valley 3. How do the puzzles work?
Manipulate the architecture
In the first game, you guide Ida through hand-crafted environments by changing the structures around her. Steam describes pushing, pulling, clicking, raising, and lowering parts of monuments to expose paths that should not be possible in ordinary space. The core pleasure is reading a scene, recognizing how its pieces can connect, then altering the architecture to make a route appear.

The store description frames Ida’s journey as a quest for forgiveness and identifies the Crow People as obstacles. Its visual language draws on minimalist 3D design, optical illusions, and ancient architecture. Those elements make the puzzles feel like compact scenes to interpret rather than conventional rooms filled with objects to collect.
What can be said about the sequel?
The collection includes Monument Valley 2, but the available coverage does not support a detailed, level-by-level comparison of the sequel’s puzzle design or story with the first game. It is safest to approach the package as two related entries in the series, not assume that every mechanic, narrative detail, or difficulty curve is identical.

What makes the PC Panoramic Editions different?
The stated PC distinction is presentation: the publisher promotes full-screen panoramic artwork and support for Full HD, TV displays, and 21:9 ultrawide monitors. PC Gamer likewise reported ultrawide support when the PC editions launched. That makes the wider framing a meaningful feature if you have an ultrawide display; it is not evidence of different puzzle content from the underlying games.
The controls are click-driven, with mouse interaction used to manipulate the environment. Steam lists the games as single-player and supports achievements, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing. Is it a worthwhile puzzle collection?
For a player drawn to quiet, carefully composed visual puzzles, the collection’s strongest case is straightforward: two games, their released add-ons according to the listing, and an edition designed to show the artwork across larger or wider screens. It is less compelling if your priority is verified long-form value, a specific challenge level, or a detailed account of how the sequel expands the first game; the cited sources do not establish those points.
Steam’s captured listing showed 97% positive from 2,042 English user reviews, classified as “Overwhelmingly Positive,” and 98% positive from 133 reviews in the preceding 30 days. These are Steam user-review aggregates captured in 2026, not critic scores or a fixed measure of all players’ opinions; the numbers can change as reviews arrive. These are the game’s listed minimums, not a guarantee that the current Steam client will run on every system meeting them. Steam notes that its client supports Windows 10 and later starting January 1, 2024, while the game listing retains Windows 7 in its requirements.
