What can you do on the New World Discord?
The server listing describes it as a place to get up-to-date information, meet other players, and talk about New World. It specifically lists these uses:

- Looking for Group/Company: connect with players for group content or a Company.

How Discord fits with New World’s other community spaces
Amazon Games’ September 1, 2024 community-spaces guidance presents Discord as one option alongside in-game text and voice chat and social media. Discord is the external option for real-time conversation and interaction with the team; in-game chat may suit players who prefer to coordinate without leaving the game.
