When did Tiny Takeover and Chaos Cubed release?
Tiny Takeover was posted as Bedrock Edition 26.10 on March 24, 2026. Chaos Cubed followed as Bedrock Edition 26.30 on June 16, 2026. Minecraft’s official update timeline lists Tiny Takeover in March and Chaos Cubed in June 2026, so neither is an upcoming release.

The version numbers above identify the Bedrock changelogs; they should not be read as Java Edition version numbers. Mojang says game drops are free and that Java and Bedrock drops generally share a release day, with Vibrant Visuals an exception. See the Minecraft game drop FAQ for its release policy.
What changed in Tiny Takeover?
Tiny Takeover focuses on baby mobs, with visual and audio updates alongside two practical additions: the golden dandelion and craftable name tags. Mojang’s Bedrock Edition 26.10 changelog labels it “Drop 1 2026.”

- Refreshed baby mobs: Many baby-mob models and textures have been updated. Using a mob’s spawn egg on the corresponding adult mob now produces its baby form.
- New animations and sounds: Some baby animals have new animations, and several baby mobs have distinct sounds. Adult sound variants were also added for pigs, cats, cows, and chickens.
- Golden dandelion: This flower is crafted from a dandelion and gold nuggets. Use it to pause a supported baby mob’s aging; particles indicate whether growth is paused or resumed. Supported creatures include armadillos, axolotls, bees, camels, cats, chickens, cows, foxes, horses, pigs, rabbits, sheep, turtles, and wolves, among others listed in the changelog.
- Craftable name tags: Name tags can now be crafted using paper and any metal nugget.
What is Chaos Cubed in Minecraft?
Chaos Cubed adds a sulfur-themed Overworld biome system: sulfur springs on the surface and sulfur caves beneath them. The caves contain sulfur and cinnabar blocks, sulfur spikes, and sulfur cubes. The June 16, 2026 Bedrock Edition 26.30 changelog describes the sulfur cube as a mob with “a curious appetite for… blocks!”
How sulfur cubes work
A sulfur cube changes its movement or behavior according to the block it consumes. Mojang highlights bouncing and sliding, as well as special interactions involving TNT and magma. You can also scoop a sulfur cube into a bucket to transport it.

Sulfur, gas, and geysers
Potent sulfur beneath water can create bubbling pools and noxious gas. The changelog says the gas causes nausea in players and nearby mobs. Geysers form when magma is placed or generated beneath potent sulfur submerged under one to four water blocks; they launch players vertically.
Music and exploration
The drop adds new music, including the “Bounce” disc. Find it in chest minecarts in abandoned mineshafts located within sulfur caves.
