What PC players needed to know about controls
In its September 12, 2025 PC requirements post, EA said keyboard and mouse were unsupported during Early Access. EA listed the following compatible controllers:
- PlayStation 4 DualShock controller
- PlayStation 5 DualSense controller
- Xbox One controller
- Xbox Series X|S controller
This input restriction concerned the PC version; it does not mean console players need to buy a separate controller. EA’s requirements post also said macOS and Linux were unsupported and Steam Deck was not supported at that time. Requirements and support can change, so check EA’s current guidance before relying on those September 2025 details.
