Netflix Nextworld was a Roblox hub for interactive experiences inspired by Netflix franchises. Netflix announced its early-access launch for May 9, 2024, describing a digital theme park with games, social spaces, and virtual collectibles. That announcement describes the launch-era offering; it does not establish whether the same experience is playable today.
What was Netflix Nextworld?
Netflix presented Nextworld as a central hub where Roblox players could explore interactive 3D spaces based on its shows and films. The company summarized the idea in its May 9, 2024 announcement: “Think: A digital theme park full of characters, easter eggs, and games.” Netflix Tudum’s launch announcement described activities ranging from franchise-themed games and minigames to social events.
Players could visit a private Fan Pod and decorate it, collect digital objects and wearables, and gather in an area called the Streamship for events such as premieres and viewing parties. The announcement also mentioned free, limited user-generated items, including a Demogorgon Plushie Head and a One Piece Flag. These were virtual in-experience items, not physical merchandise.
Which Netflix franchises and games were included at launch?
The launch announcement named several experiences and activities:

Can you still play Netflix Nextworld?
The available evidence does not establish whether Nextworld is currently playable or closed. A Roblox listing indexed before the research timestamp displayed the message “There are currently no running experiences,” but that is a limited snapshot, not a reliable present-day status check. The listing is Netflix Nextworld on Roblox; check the live page for the latest status.
Roblox’s July 15, 2025 announcement of its License Manager and Licenses catalog named Netflix as a launch partner and listed Stranger Things and Squid Game among Netflix properties available for licensed creator use. That later, platform-wide licensing program is separate from Nextworld’s 2024 launch and does not prove that either property was added to the hub or that Nextworld is still active. Roblox’s licensing-platform announcement describes that broader program.
