On April 27, 2025, Insider Gaming reported that new Battlefield 6 alpha footage had leaked online after recent Battlefield Labs playtests. The outlet attributed most of the clips to X user @alisaad40002 and described them as showing destruction and modern military combat. Those were details reported about the clips—not an EA or DICE confirmation of their authenticity or a definitive list of features.
When did the Battlefield 6 gameplay leak happen?
Insider Gaming published its report on April 27, 2025, describing the footage as appearing after the latest Battlefield Labs playtests. The report’s exact summary was: “A series of new Battlefield 6 alpha videos have been leaked online following the latest Battlefield Labs playtests.” Insider Gaming
The timing places the clips in Battlefield 6’s pre-release development period. They were not footage from the finished, publicly released game.
What did the Battlefield 6 alpha leak show?
Insider Gaming characterized the clips as showing destruction and modern military combat. The article attributed most of the videos to the X account @alisaad40002. That is the outlet’s attribution; the report did not establish that EA or DICE authenticated the clips. Its description should therefore be read as reporting on purported alpha footage, not as an official feature announcement.
