This page is for the Tuesday, December 2, 2025 NYT Pips puzzle, listed in the archive as puzzle #107. The archive identifies Easy, Medium, and Hard boards, but the board layouts and tile values could not be verified. Because Pips answers depend on the exact board, no tile placements or final answers are supplied here.
How to approach the December 2 Pips puzzle
Pips asks you to place dominoes across a grid until every cell is covered. Each domino covers two cells, and the pips in cells inside a colored region must satisfy that region’s condition. A domino that crosses a region boundary contributes one end to each region, so its two values may have to meet different conditions.
Work from both constraints at once: the dominoes must fit the grid, and the values assigned to each region must obey its rule. A placement that looks promising for one region can make the neighboring region harder to complete.
December 2, 2025 difficulty tiers
The dated archive lists three versions for puzzle #107:
#1 Best Overall
- Easy: Available as a difficulty tier in the archive; its board and solution are not verified here.
- Medium: Available as a difficulty tier in the archive; its board and solution are not verified here.
- Hard: Available as a difficulty tier in the archive. A dated search result indicates that a Hard walkthrough was published, but its board and placements could not be checked.
Why this page does not give tile-by-tile answers
A result for a dated walkthrough confirms that answer material for December 2 was indexed, and the archive labels the puzzle #107. However, the available records do not establish the actual board geometry, region clues, domino inventory, or placements. Guessing a solution from the date or difficulty label could give you the wrong answer, so this page does not invent hints or placements.
