The NFL Christmas Games on Netflix also inspired two holiday-themed Roblox experiences: an event in NFL Universe Football announced for December 17, 2024, and an NFL mini-game in Nextworld announced for December 19. The tie-ins offered digital activities and rewards tied to the Chiefs, Ravens, Steelers, and Texans. The announced dates have passed, and the available launch coverage does not confirm whether either event or its rewards can still be accessed.
What the Roblox NFL Christmas Games tie-in included
The NFL and Netflix Christmas Day games were the inspiration for holiday activities in NFL Universe Football and Nextworld, both Roblox experiences. The events were designed to bring the games’ teams and seasonal theme into Roblox; they were digital activations, not announcements of physical merchandise.
GamesBeat reported on the launch on December 17, 2024, and its report is marked updated June 18, 2025. License Global also reported the announcement on December 17, 2024. Those reports describe the planned launches but do not establish present availability.

What NFL and Voldex said about the events
Ed Kiang, the NFL’s vice president of video gaming, described the Roblox experiences as a lighthearted way to bring the games’ “magic” to the platform. GamesBeat’s report also quotes him saying fans could celebrate the Netflix Christmas Day teams “in new and engaging ways.”
Harry Bienenstock, Voldex’s head of growth, said the goal for NFL Universe Football was to give fans a dynamic way to engage with the sport year-round. He also attributed “+40% growth in visits year-over-year” to the experience. That figure is Voldex’s claim as reported in December 2024; the coverage does not explain the measurement window or provide independent validation.
