Mythical Games brought the free Web3 party game to the Epic Games Store in 2022, but announced that it would stop being downloadable and playable on December 18, 2023. The Epic listing remains visible; that page alone does not mean the game is still available to play.
What the Epic Games Store launch meant
Mythical Games announced the Epic Games Store release on June 23, 2022, describing the move as a way to make Blankos Block Party easier to find and download. Epic lists September 15, 2022, as the game’s release date. The launch was a distribution milestone for a free-to-play title, not a new game edition.
In its 2022 announcement, Mythical said the game had more than 1 million accounts. It also described Epic’s potential audience as more than 180 million players. Those are historical figures reported by the company: the account count is not an independently audited active-player total, and the audience figure refers to potential reach through Epic, not Blankos users.
