Green: SUBSEQUENT
COMING, FOLLOWING, FUTURE, and LATER all refer to what comes afterward or remains to come. This sits close to the influx idea: several words can suggest something arriving, so check how the full set fits rather than placing a word by its first association.
Blue: KINDS OF CARDS
Add “card” after each word: business card, greeting card, membership card, and playing card.

Purple: COLORS MINUS LAST LETTER
Each entry is a color with its final letter removed: BROW is brown without N, CYA is cyan without N, PIN is pink without K, and WHIT is white without E. The trick is a spelling pattern rather than a shared meaning.
